DADDY SHRIMP

Daddy Shrimp (daddyshrimp.io) is a free, browser-based multiplayer game, currently in early access. There is no real-money play: in-game tokens and Founder Credits have no cash value. This page explains what data we handle and the basic rules for using the game.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account info (optional): if you choose to sign in, your email address — used only to send you a one-time sign-in link and to identify your account. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
Gameplay data: your chosen display name and shrimp color, and your stats (rounds played, chomps, tokens collected, Founder Credits, best results).
Technical data: standard information your browser sends (such as device and browser type), and cookies / local storage used to keep you signed in and remember your name and color preferences.

You can play as a guest without providing any email; in that case your progress is not saved to an account.

Cookies & advertising

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We also display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at Google's advertising policies.

Third-party services

We rely on a few services to run the game, each with its own privacy practices: Supabase (accounts & database), Render (game servers), Vercel (web hosting), and Google AdSense (advertising).

Children

Daddy Shrimp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. To request access to, or deletion of, the data associated with your account, email us at the address below.

Changes

We may update this policy as the game evolves; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.

Terms of Use

The game is provided free of charge, "as is," without warranties of any kind.
Founder Credits and in-game tokens have no monetary value. They are not money, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. They exist for fun and may unlock cosmetic perks in the future.
This phase includes no real-money gambling, payments, deposits, withdrawals, or prizes.
Please don't cheat, exploit, harass other players, or attempt to disrupt the service.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the game at any time.
